Dr. James H. Williams
Timothy instructs pastors to prepare themselves for ministry through preparation and study so that they can correctly exegete and share God's Eternal Word (2 Timothy 2:15). Dr. Williams holds a B.S. Degree from Voorhees College with a major in Biology. He also holds a Master of Education Degree with a concentration in Educational Leadership from Clemson University, and a Master of Divinity and Doctor of Ministry Degrees from Erskine Theological Seminary. Pastor Williams consistently demonstrates the desire to share the love of God. God's saving Grace and Mercy are clearly seen and witnessed in his teaching and preaching. His background as a teacher, educator and administrator have equipped him through the power of the Holy Spirit to be a servant leader. He has served as a Sunday School Teacher, Mid-Week Bible Study Teacher, Coordinator and Facilitator of the Church's Annual Spiritual Retreat, Trustee, Deacon, Associate Pastor, Interim Pastor and Vice Moderator of the Oolenoy River Baptist Missionary and Educational Association Union.
Pastor Williams has dedicated his life to the ministry of the Gospel. His favorite Bible verse is Proverbs 3:5-6--Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight.
